FM Qureshi says Pakistan will take part in Kabul talks (feedproxy.google.com)
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Foreign Minister, Shah Mehmood Qureshi has expressed that Pakistan will take part in the tri-party dialogue in Kabul scheduled to take place in December with China and Afghanistan.Speaking on the floor of the Senate, the minister highlighted what Pakistan has achieved out of the recent visits made by the incumbent premier.Qureshi expressed that Saudi Arabia extended bailout package without any condition which was a visible privilege.Ties with Saudi Arabia would remain in place, said Qureshi and affirmed that the bailout by the Oil-rich kingdom was without any condition.The lawmaker detailed that the China visit of Prime Minister Imran Khan bore positive results and efforts were made to deepen the ties between Islamabad and Beijing.‘A meeting was held with the president, prime minister and vice president who is leading the anti-corruption drive,’ highlighted the minister.Qureshi expressed that it was agreed that the strategic dialogue between the two countries would be conducted at the ministerial level.The lawmaker continued that there was an unparalleled conflict between Saudi Arabia and Iran a the moment adding that the pull out of US from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) will affect the stability of Iran as well.‘At one side Pakistan has ties with Saudi Arabia while on the other side the country the neighbour to Iran,’ said the minister.The lawmaker expressed that there should be a unity in dealing with foreign affairs of the country.‘Pakistan is concerned about the Yemen crisis and aerial bombing is still underway in the region,’ said Qureshi.Shah Mehmood Qureshi lavished praise on the Senate members and wished that the decor of the National Assembly might one day be like the Upper House of the Parliament.
